The Challenge
The !NOT Pink Con is an annual cybersecurity conference led by women, held in Buenos Aires, Argentina. In 2020, the organizers invited me to redesign the logo and overall aesthetic for the event, which was held remotely due to the pandemic.
Along with creating various layouts, I was tasked with reimagining Bits, the event's mascot. The design guidelines emphasized a futuristic, digital, and eye-catching style to reflect the conference's innovative spirit.
The Solution
The beauty of this project was the creative freedom it offered, allowing me to fully explore my skills. For the logo and layout redesign, I drew inspiration from 80s aesthetics and neon visuals.
To redesign Bits, the mascot, I collaborated with Pau Weichandt, a designer and artist with incredible character design skills. Together, we combined my designs and her illustrations to create stunning and captivating visuals.

Layouts & other applications

I sometimes start with a simple sketch and then move to the computer because I already have a clear vision of how everything will look.
In this case, I imagined the arrangement of the elements and then sat at the computer to experiment with different effects and typography.
