The Challenge

Wonderclan Roller Derby is a Roller Derby team that needed a logo design and everything that goes with it to create its visual identity. The foundations of this team were very solid, based on the good quality of the people, friendship and teamwork. Being the first team in that neighborhood made them unique.

The Solution

I started with choosing the primary color as Magenta, for its purity, intensity, and strength. I then picked a rising star as a symbol of individuality, growth, and vision for the future. Next, the cursive typography needed to give a sense of movement and unity between the ligatures of its form and an accompanying solid typography for its strength and structure.
